Pathlight Ministries offers Encouragement, Support & Resources to help young adults stay rooted in their Christian faith and involved in their local church after high school.
The statistics are staggering. According to AnswersinGenesis.org, approximately 2/3 of young people leave the church by the time they reach college age–and very few return.
Pathlight Ministries firmly believes that by working alongside students and their parents, churches, and community leaders, that number will drastically decrease. But, literally speaking, it “takes a village.” These young people need our encouragement and support to stay faithful…they need everyone to step up and answer the call. So what are you waiting for? Our Vision for the Future
While our primary mission is focused on keeping young adults active in their faith and local church, we aspire to work alongside parents and area churches, encouraging them to include child and youth participation in Sunday services on occasion. We believe offering this occasional inclusion will be invaluable when the time comes for the youth to cross the bridge from high school into adulthood. In addition, Pathlight Ministries strives to encourage teens and young adults to team with a Christian Mentor and offer programs and curriculum to facilitate that relationship.
